This is a play that was performed in the Age Exchange Theatre - the Bakehouse - in Blackheath in 2002. It was directed by Pam Schweitzer.

It was based on the memories of people who lived in Collins Street, particularly Doris Bliss and Olive Amos. Olive died in 2019 at the age of 99.

The play came out of interviews which Pam Schweitzer and Clare Summerskill carried with residents over a period of time. These interviews are the basis of other films put together by Allan Griffin which can be seen in the "Blackheath Memories" section.

The play was performed live continuously but has had to be divided into 4 parts because of the technical limitations of the "Blackheatharchive" website.
