Wesleyan Methodist Church, Blackheath Grove, 1945/46

One of the last V2 rockets to fall on England was on 8 March 1945 when one exploded on the Village and caused much damage, especially in Montpelier Vale and the area behind to the east including the Wesleyan Methodist church. At least three were killed and many were injured.
