In 2015, the Blackheath Society and the Blackheath Halls jointly celebrated the anniversary of the building of the Blackheath Halls with an exhibition of the entertainment that has been enjoyed by Blackheath residents over the past 200 years. (This did not include the huge amount of entertainment which has taken place on the Heath itself, which will the subject of a separate gallery).
The exhibition started with newspaper reports of the entertainment enjoyed by Blackheathans at The Green Man Tavern in the early C19th.
