Bertha and Blanche Goff were students of Christine Connell and studied at the Blackheath School of Art in 1904.

One of the sisters later taught at the school in 1909, the prospectus of this year listing a Miss B Goff as a teacher of enamelling.

It does possibly lead to the suggestion that both Bertha and Blanche taught this subject (although Bertha is better remembered today).
